The FAMU National Alumni Association (NAA) supports the inaugural Florida A&M University National Day of Service to commemorate the life and legacy of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Volunteers are needed for this nationwide community service effort. We join the university in asking alumni to participate in one day of service from January 15-18, 2016. Sign up today at http://dayofservice.famu.edu.
T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh, honorary chair for the FAMU National Day of Service, will join the FAMU NAA Washington, DC Chapter in one of its two service projects. On Friday morning, January 15, T’Keyah will speak to students at a school in Washington, DC. Then, she will join DC alumni to read to the students in their classrooms. If you’re in the DC area, sign up to volunteer with T’Keyah by registering here.
